Who we are

For more than 15 years we are now based in Phuket. First class service and top dive sites are a matter of course at Sea Bees Diving in Thailand. Our achievements as the six times winner of the Golden Dolphin for “Best Dive Centre in South-East Asia and Pacific” and winning the only 5 Star DIN certification “Proven Top Service Provider” award held in Thailand, guarantee that you’ll be in safe hands. As well we are a Quality Divers member and are proud to be able to offer the best dive education there is to offer.

Where we are

Our two dive centres and the adjacent dive resorts are located on the island of Phuket and on the beautiful west coast of Thailand’s mainland in Khao Lak. Both spots offer great dive experience to the fascinating underwater-world of the Andaman Sea.

Phuket – The pearl of the Andaman

Phuket is Thailand’s largest island and a popular holiday destination. Our head office and training centre are located in Chalong, which you find in the south east. Chalong Pier is only a stone’s throw from our dive centre, where our modern dive boats await you to take you on a day-trip or a dive safari to the best dive sites in Thailand.

Khao Lak – where the adventure begins

Just one hour drive from Phuket International Airport, Khao Lak is the ideal starting point for day-trips to Similan Islands, or a liveaboard trip to Richelieu Rock, Koh Tachai and Koh Bon. Or dive centre is integrated into our Palm Garden Resort, which is just a few minutes from Khao Lak centre and milestone white beaches.

The Dive Sites

Phuket’s dive sites average between 18-30 metres, and offer easy to medium diving levels. Drop-offs, small caves and wrecks are present as well as bizarre rock formations and coral gardens. The maritime life of the Andaman Sea is very versatile, and offers amongst many tropical fish also rare species such as sea horses and ghostpipe fiish. Leopard sharks are frequent companions during our dives, and from time to time y manta can be seen in flight. The Similan Islands are a stunning group of nine islands north-west of Phuket. They are famous for being one of the top dive destinations in the world and certainly the best in Asia. The diving is simply amazing.

The dive sites in Similan and Surin Islands are in general slightly deeper, and the fantastic visibility of usually not less than 30m is captivating. These dive spots are suitable for all diving levels and offer a large diversity of marine life. Coral fish, barracuda, sharks and during February and May even manta and whale sharks make a divers heart beat faster. 

The Diving

Our multilingual team of dive instructors is highly experience in dive education and is also trained in first aid. They know the best dive sites around Phuket and Similan Islands and none of them has less than 250 local dives. So you can be assured you’ll be diving with the guys who know what they’re doing. Our dive boats are amongst the best Thailand has to offer and no matter whether you join us for a daytrip or a dive safari, we always dive in small groups, with maximum of four divers per guide. This absolutely guarantees both fun and safety.   

The Education

Our target is to improve your skills as a recreational diver as well as your knowledge as a dive instructor. We offer the complete range of courses in accordance with BSAC, SSI, CMAS or PADI standards.  The divers training will be conducted in our dive academy at Palm Garden Resort where we offer everything under one roof. Idyllic bungalows, air conditioned, multimedia classrooms and a purpose built 3m deep pool. Students will receive the highest quality and safety standards as well as the most professional education. Our professional instructors and course directors don’t only focus on learning and teaching, they also know how to have fun.
